Year 8 English

Dear Parents,

Term One has come and gone extremely quickly. From here the year will progress and it will become busy for our students with tests and assessment tasks. Thus far, our new Year Sevens have settled well and are adapting to secondary school life.

As a school we have reintroduced DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) program. Every day the students are given an allocated timer of 15 minutes to read. We expect all students to come to DEAR prepared with a novel to read of their interest. I sincerely hope parents encourage and support our initiative, as it is imperative for our students to be reading every day.
